Tennessee Titans Tickets Mean Terrific Football

When you have Tennessee Titans tickets, you can be sure of a football that has the important Big Ts in it- toughness and terrific football. The Titans are a team that have seen the worst and have not let it bring their down. Despite numerous relocations and disappointments, the Titans have always played great football.
The Tennessee Titans are a National Football League team that is also affiliated with the American Football Conference and the AFC South. They play their home games at LP Field and have eight Division titles and one Conference championship to their name. They have yet to win a Super Bowl title.
From Oilers To Titans
The Titans were founded in 1960 as the Houston Oilers. The Oilers did well in the AFL and were able to distinguish themselves with back to back AFL championship wins in 1960 and 1961. However, as was the fate with many AFL teams, the merger with the NFL in 1970 did not treat them kindly. It wouldn't be until 1974 that the team would be able to bring their up to speed after adding a number of good players to their roster.
The eighties, however. seemed to pull the team down yet again and it wouldn't be until the nineties that the team would get its groove back. They seemed to be on the winning track after getting a Division title win in 1991. But all was not well off the field. The management was not impressed with the way the Titans were doing and in 1993, the team was threatened with dissolution if they did not make the Super Bowl. The Oilers just weren't able to deliver and as promised, the team's best player was traded off. By 1996, the team was at its lowest. attendance was so low that one could actually hear conversations on the field from the stands. In 1997, the team was moved to Tennessee.

In 1999, the team began a new era under the name Tennessee
